Social Skills Group

The Helping House Social Skills group is a resource for children with Asperger's or higher functioning autism. We meet once weekly for an interactive group lesson on social skills. We use peer modeling, bibliotherapy, video modeling and direct instruction to impart skills that typical kids learn intuitively: conversation skills, safety, hygiene, and making friends, among other things.
